Sisters In Washington D.C.!

This week, two of our successful sisters met up in the nation’s capital! Following her dreams to help those who serve our country, Caira Everly is spending her summer in Washington D.C. as an intern for the U.S. Department of Defense; which means she gets to work at the Pentagon! Alex Zins, one of our newest alumna, recently began working as a consultant at the prestigious Deloitte Consulting Firm in the District of Columbia. Caira was able to give Alex a tour of the Pentagon, including the different Corridors and the center court yard, which is the one of the largest no hat, no salute zones in the continental United States.

Fun fact: There are six different zip codes assigned to the Pentagon: the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and each of the four service branches have their own. And even though the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Defense is actually located in Arlington County, Virginia its postal address is Washington D.C.
